Shed Hunt Training - Arwyn

Lots & lots of training has begun. She is super birdie & absolutely loves running around with sheds already. She still has so much energy and doesn't always want to bring them back to me, but we will get there haha I took her on her first hike up the mountain & just let her run. She did fantastic. Arwyn would point birds & never ran too far away, she always had to make sure she could see me. 

 

Snowmobiling, American Fork Canyon, Utah

Had a great time snowmobiling with some awesome friends. It was quite the adventure. Our original plan was to go do some different activities so that our friend January could film for a promo to an upcoming LDS Singles event in Island Park. We did the filming portion, then me, Scott & Luke decided to go to dinner and keep snowmobiling through the night. (i know i know, lucky girl right? great double date, dinner with two guys & switching off sharing a sled with both of them)
Anyways, the sled Scott was riding ended up getting stuck in a tiny river up the canyon & we couldn't get it out just the three of us. So Scott & Luke road Luke's sled back down & I started hiking down. Even though the snow was almost to my chest in some parts, I've always loved being up the mountain at night. So peaceful and still. Luke came back to get me & then we all headed down to get some warmer, dry clothes & call in reinforcements to go get the other sled back out. Thankfully, the guys were able to get it out and all of us made it back down safely. It was quite the adventure & great night with some of my favorite people. Makes for a great story now haha

Sledding with the Family

Have loved having the Pettingill family in town for part of the holidays. We had a great day sledding. It's always fun to have all us kids & all the nieces and nephews together.

After sledding hanging out, giggling over boys & chatting. Sure love these nieces of mine! 

  

Fun with Arwyn

She is just the most beautiful & sweet dog. I didn't realize how much I really missed my Vizsla around until I got another lil pup. Dogs really do have a way of filling a lonely heart. 

 

 

 

 

Totally found one of my nieces binkies & was running around with them in her mouth. It was so funny. Yes, instead of taking it away, I kept trying to get a photo. Too funny!!

 

 

North Dakota Pheasant Hunting & My New Puppy Arwyn

Our annual pheasant hunting trip to North Dakota was even more exciting and meaningful this year. I got to meet the newest addition to my lil family. Arwyn, a purebred German Shorthair Pointer. We already have the greatest little bond. She is so good & so sweet. Full of life. I cannot wait for all our adventures together.
